The future house is located on the side of the road and at the start of an alley in Hanoi. With the current situation of Hanoi, the future problems that the house will have to endure are traffic noise, dust and harmful effects from the regional tropical climate. Not only that, the homeowner requires many functions for his future house on 6 floors. In this case, it seems that many homeowners only want to build their house with the functions they plan, but we are not completely concern about urban syndromes such as lack of places to relax, lack of greenery, and stress caused by congestion. Because even if the homeowner has learned about architecture, many in them probably think that if arrange enough convenient functions, family members will reduce stress. Perhaps we have not understood that stress or other symptoms are caused by a lack of common space, using a lot of smartphones, and therefore less places to relieve stress right in the house and less space to facilitate contact and care for each other. Perhaps we have partly created those syndromes for ourselves in the future when we plan spaces for their homes.

With the requirement to arrange many functions on a 10m x 10.5m plot of land, the architect could not create a private yard for the house, however the architect tried to create common spaces with trees. In the directions exposed to the two traffic routes, the street and the alley, a balcony combined with a tree planter surrounds these two elevations. Accordingly, from the 2nd to 4th floors all have large balconies with green trees. On the 4th and 5th floors, the balcony is adjusted to be spacious terraces for resting and relaxing.
For room functions, common rooms are also noted to be arranged in the total function. On the second floor is a spacious living room, not only for meeting as its traditional role, also for entertainment. And on the 4th floor there is a library, which is also considered a place to sit down and rest and talk together.
In terms of form and function, ventilating bricks are built to cover two open facades, playing an aesthetic role as well as solving climate problems. The back of these two facade panels, as introduced, is balconies or terraces, small trees such as plants and vines are planted how to fit the allowed void.
